Welcome to Team Up LLC. By accessing or using our team management application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Team Up LLC, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Team Up LLC is a team management platform designed for high school sports programs. Features include roster management, workout tracking, playbook tools, messaging, scheduling, and related functionality.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create a coach or parent account
• Student accounts must be created with appropriate parental/school consent
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. User Roles and Responsibilities

Coaches

• Are responsible for managing their team's data appropriately
• Must ensure they have proper authorization to collect and manage player information
• Are responsible for the conduct of users they invite to their team

Players and Parents

• Must use the service respectfully and appropriately
• Should only access information relevant to their team participation

5. Subscription, Payment, and Refunds

• Team Up LLC offers monthly ($59/month) and annual ($499/year) subscription plans
• All subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe customer portal
• Cancellation Policy: Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the service until the end of your current billing period. No refunds or credits will be issued for partial subscription periods.
• Monthly Subscriptions: Non-refundable. Cancel anytime to prevent future charges.
• Annual Subscriptions: Refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
• We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers

6. Free Trial

Team Up LLC offers a 14-day free trial for new teams. During the trial period, you have full access to all features. At the end of the 14-day trial, you will need to subscribe to continue using the service. We will notify you before your trial expires. No credit card is required to start a trial.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the service
• Use the messaging system for spam, harassment, or inappropriate content
• Collect information about other users without consent
• Use the service in any way that could harm minors

8. Content and Data

• You retain ownership of the content you upload to Team Up LLC
• You grant us a license to store, display, and process your content to provide the service
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content
• We may remove content that violates these Terms

9. Intellectual Property

Team Up LLC and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Team Up LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software or branding without permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Team Up LLC is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Team Up LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Team Up LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately
• We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles.
